You gave them too much credit - to report that would automatically mean they have the intellectual capacity of objectively observing the natural world and quantify its observations. When was the last time a religiotard has been capable of that? Never?

God must have micro-evolved humans to not notice such things until the micro-evolution was completed.

Frankly, they don't see themselves as in the business for doing so. Not only will most Christians say that it isn't a part of what they're supposed to do, their attitude was confirmed by several people I debated with recently. The most prevalent reaction I got among the church i was with (for a nerf war, can't blame me for that) was "Why reason when you can have faith?" And no, that's not an exaggeration. That was a word for word quote of two of the people I encountered and talked with about their religion and the response to my question "Why have faith when you can use reason to deduce?" They don't want to have a reason, they just want to believe.

Didn't AIG claim that scientists were erroneously assuming the speed of light was the same in both directions? Obviously, the rapid pace of new species evolving has not been constant. Right now, it's very slow. New species take thousands or maybe tens of thousands of years to evolve.

Are you aware that of the "millions and millions" of species on the earth today, only about 30,000 of them are land dwelling vertebrates? This means that there are about four times as many species of land dwelling vertebrates on earth today as there were 4,000 years ago. When you consider that there are over a hundred species of finches, all descended from one original species, and over a thousand species of bats, also descended from one original species, this claim becomes somewhat less absurd than you make it appear. Attack what your opponents actually believe.
